Festival of Cultures
The Festival of Cultures invites you to experience a journey through the world and its cultures.
The Festival of Cultures (formerly the International Culture Café (IKC)) takes place every semester. With the support of international students, culinary delights and a program of music, dances and other cultural attractions are offered as part of the respective event. Sometimes the focus of the IKC is on a specific country or continent, sometimes cultures from all over the world are represented. As part of this, international students from all over the world who are studying at TU Dortmund University and FH Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts can present different traditions, culinary delights and attractions from their home countries.

The next Festival of Cultures Summer Edition will take place on 21 June 2024 at Emil-Figge-Str. 50 (Foyer).
Registration for culture booths and performances will be available starting next week.
The call for participation will be announced both here on this website and on the Instagram channel of the International Office (@tudo_international).
Festival of Cultures - winter semester 2023/24
On 10.11.2023, the "Festival of Cultures" took place for the 16th time - for the first time in the kostBar canteen on the campus of Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
With more than 12 different countries, such as Brazil, Libya, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Venezuela, South Africa, Syria, Cameroon and India, cultures from every corner of the globe were represented at the Festival of Cultures on 10.11.2023.
