A list of the departments, study programs and courses at TU Dortmund University can be found on our website Course Catalog.

You should mainly choose subject courses offered by the department where you have been accepted as an Erasmus exchange student. Please discuss with the Departmental Coordinator whether you can choose additional subject courses from other departments. If you want to participate in the German Intensive Course, you can also list this course in the Learning Agreement. For the successful participation in the German Intensive Course you will receive 7 ECTS.

As a rule, language courses during the semester may not be listed in the Learning Agreement, as participation cannot be guaranteed due to the popularity (an exception can only be examined if your study plan requires that you must attend a particular language course in the exact semester in which you are studying at the TU Dortmund University). Regardless of the indication in the Learning Agreement, you can register for language courses during the semester after your arrival.

In addition, exchange students may occasionally take part in courses at the Ruhr universities of the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr).
