TU Dortmund University does not have its own student housing, and affordable furnished rooms are scarce on the open housing market in Dortmund. For this reason, the International Office reserves rooms for exchange students in the dormitories operated by the Studierendenwerk Dortmund. Health Insurance
To enroll at a German university, you need adequate health insurance coverage. This is required by German law. For more information, visit the page on health insurance for exchange students.

Liability Insurance
