FAQ DAAD Scholarship for more Equality of Opportunity

Applications are open to international students and doctoral candidates who are enrolled at TU Dortmund University and face particular personal challenges. These include special care situations for children or relatives in need of care, a degree of disability or a refugee background.

In principle, doctoral candidates and students can apply in any semester of their studies. Please note, however, that funding is tied to enrolment at TU Dortmund University and therefore expires at the latest at the end of your studies.

If you meet all the requirements for the DAAD Scholarship for Equal Opportunities, you will be invited to an online application interview by e-mail.

After reviewing your documents and the digital interview, it may take up to a week before you receive an acceptance or rejection by e-mail. If you are accepted, you must sign a declaration of acceptance and a scholarship agreement in order to receive payment of the scholarship.
