At the beginning of the study
You are not yet enrolled but are interested in studying at TU Dortmund University? Would you like to apply for a Bachelor's or Master's program and have educational certificates from abroad? Then find out more on the pages of our "Admissions" section. There you will also find information on the application procedure, the required language skills, enrollment and re-registration.
After enrollment you can register for the welcome event Come2Campus. Come2Campus is a welcome event for international first-year students that takes place once a year at the beginning of each winter semester. During Come2Campus, first-year students receive a lot of useful information on various topics related to studying and the university.More information about the program and registration can be found on the Come2Campus website.

TU Dortmund University is a campus university with 17 departmens and service facilities. These are mainly located on the North Campus and the South Campus.

During your studies
Language skills are an indispensable part of studying. At TU Dortmund University, the Division of Foreign Languages int the Center for Higher Education (zhb) is concerned with teaching foreign languages at the academic level. The target group are students and doctoral candidates of TU Dortmund University. In addition to teaching foreign language skills, the Division of Foreign Languages is dedicated to the subject area of "Academic Writing and Presenting". Thus, the writing workshop w.space bundles a number of writing-specific offers and measures for the languages German as a native/second/foreign language and English.

TU Dortmund University offers a colorful campus life! Whether it is eating and exchanging ideas in one of the dormitories, doing sports or listening to music - on the "Campus Life"-pages you will find a good overview of life on campus.

AGs, student councils and international events on campus: The AStA has listed student AGs at the university that currently enrich the recreational program. In order to quickly find your way around within your own faculty, the respective student councils are a good place to start. They organize faculty-related events and serve as a meeting point for people with similar interests. Contact with other students can be established particularly well by becoming internationally active. The International Office is the hub for various events and buddy programs.

From A for aerobics to Z for Zumba: The University Sports (HSP) at TU Dortmund University offers a comprehensive range of approximately 100 different sports courses.
Orchestras, choirs, big bands - the musical life at TU Dortmund University is colorful: jazz, rock and pop are as much a part of the repertoire as classical works. The ensembles of the Institute of Music and Musicology include students of all faculties, employees as well as alumni of TU Dortmund University. At the end of your studies

"Alumni International" is a network of international former students of TU Dortmund University. It maintains the connection between international alumni from all over the world who spent their entire studies, an exchange semester or internship at our university. Alumni continue to stay in touch with TU Dortmund University through online and on-site events, a portrait series, and information about developments at the university.
