India is a strategically important partner for TU Dortmund University in international cooperation in both research and student mobility. In addition, the number of students of Indian origin at TU Dortmund University has continued to grow in recent years, making them currently the largest group of foreign students on campus.

In-Country Representative

Building a sustainble academic network between TU Dortmund University and Indian institutions, fostering academic collaboration as well as strengthening the connections with Indian students, since 2025 Maneesha Jakku has been representing TU Dortmund University as the in-country representative for India.

DWIH New Delhi

Since 2024, TU Dortmund University has been an associate supporter of the German House for Science and Innovation New Delhi (DWIH New Delhi). The DWIH New Delhi promotes exchange and networking between Indian and German universities and research institutions.
