Intercultural exchange, meeting new faces, learning German: Join our German Language Café!
Every second Thursday, the German Language Café offers international students the opportunity to engage with one another, to have exciting conversations and to use or improve their German language skills in the process. Whether you are learning German on A1 or C1 level, you can participate with any level of proficiency. Join us! No prior registration is required.
When?
Our next meetings take place on the following dates at 6:00 p.m.
In the summer semester 2024:
- 2 May 2024 (on Campus: IBZ)
- 13 June 2024 (Location will be communicated)
- 27 June 2024 (on Campus: IBZ)
- 11 July 2024 (Location will be communicated)
- 25 July 2024 (on Campus: IBZ)
Where?
Generally the Language Café takes place face-to-face in the IBZ (Emil-Figge-Str. 59, 44227 Dortmund) on campus.
In case of room changes we will notify you on this website.
If the Covid situation requires it, we will inform you about possible online meetings here as well.

Confirmation of Participation
Certificate "Studium International"
You can obtain a confirmation of participation if you attend the Language Café on a regular and active basis.
Prerequisite: Participation on at least six dates within one semester.
The confirmation can be credited towards the "Studium International" certificate.
