Application for a Master's Degree Program

Would you like to start a Master's degree at TU Dortmund University and have already decided on a degree program? Here you will find everything you need to know about applying for the first semester.

Applicant Groups

A distinction is made between two applicant groups for applications to TU Dortmund University. Membership of one of these groups is determined by nationality and the country in which the Bachelor's degree (MZB) was obtained.

Non-EU/EEA Nationals

You belong to the group of non-EU/EEA nationals if both conditions apply:

  • You are a national of a non-EU/EEA country.
  • You acquired your MZB outside the EU/EEA.

EU/EEA Nationals

You belong to the group of EU/EEA nationals if at least one of the following conditions applies:

  • You are a national of an EU/EEA member state.
  • You have acquired your MZB within the EU/EEA.
