Are you new to Dortmund? Let the Economic Development Agency Dortmund show you around the city!

Arriving in a new city is always exciting. While getting aquainted with your working environment and your co-workers, there oftentimes is not enough time to explore the new home. The Economic Development Agency Dortmund would like to change that and invites you to take part in a guided tour through Dortmund. You will be able to meet like-minded reseachers and business people as well as make new contacts in a relaxed atmosphere. 

During the tour, a guide will take you to Lake PHOENIX and the home of the BVB. Apart from tourist attractions, places of economic interest will be visited as well, such as Dortmund Harbor or PHOENIX West. The tour ends on the rooftop terrace of the Dortmund U. 

The tour is going to take place on 15. April 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until approximately 8:00 p.m. The starting point for the tour is at TU Dortmund University in front of the Erich Brost Institute, Otto-Hahn-Str. 2. 

The number of spots is limited, so please make sure to register as soon as possible if you are interested in participating in the tour. Registration is possible via the following link: Registration Welcome Tour. Participation in the tour is free of charge, of course.

As spots are limited, we recommend that you register as soon as possible. Should you not be able to attain a spot due to high deman or should you be interested in participating in one of the future guided tours, you can be added to the mailing list of the Economic Development Agency.
