If the degree program of your choice is not listed there, the regular application period mentioned above applies.

Further Information

Please submit your application for admission to the degree program in due form and time via our online application. Upload all documents relevant to your application in the online application. It is not necessary to send documents to us by mail.

Alternatively, you can use our Application for Admission. In this case, please submit your application via e-mail.

Mandatory Documents to Be Submitted

  • Highest school leaving certificate
  • Subject and grade overview of the highest school leaving certificate
  • Subject and grade overviews of your studies
  • certificate of completion of studies
  • Information on the grading system of your­ university
  • Sworn translations of all documents in German or English

Additional Mandatory Documents to Be Submitted if These Have Been Acquired

  • Certificate of the assessment test (Feststellungsprüfung)
  • Proof of successfully passed university entrance examination
  • Highest proof of your German language skills
  • In case of name change: Certificate of the name change

Additional Mandatory Documents for Applicants from China, Vietnam or India

  • APS Certificate
  • Group APS are ­only accepted if they are­ specifically issued for TU­ Dortmund University.

Degree Program-Specific Documents

Individual­ degree programs­ require­ further degree program-specific documents.

For individual study programs, special program-specific documents are required in addition to the general application documents. Please inform yourself in advance, which study program specific documents you need.

Some departments already indicate on their websites what minimum grade is required or what number of ECTS credits are needed in a particular field. You can check this under the enrollment requirements. If you have any questions about the degree program, please contact the Student Advisory Service.
